THE STONE HOUSE becomes an ancestral space, an echo and container of our world: the hearth.
The STONE HOUSE objects are traces of memory, sunsets of passages in our history: facts and events from our past as the result of mnemonic and non-critical investigation; they are "emerged narratives" that combine stone with raw and natural materials by retracing fragments of evolutionary memories.
The main partner, Friul Mosaic, created the set-up and covering of the artistic mosaic surfaces and a series of matched companies to display cross-cutting and narrative objects composed of stone (from Carrara white through Segesta ivory to lava stone) and other materials (silver, mineral salts, steel, iron, leather, leather, stoneware, crystal, brass).
From the idea of a pair of designers among the most promising in Italy, GUMDESIGN, comes CASA DI PIETRA, a collection of "livable" objects made by some of the most important Italian companies pride of made in Italy.
