Ceppo Monet (Ceppo Sicilia, Breccia Botticelli): the Sicilian marble with pictorial colors

Ceppo Monet, also marketed today as Ceppo Sicilia or Breccia Botticelli, is a Sicilian limestone breccia that does not go unnoticed. Its textures are truly reminiscent of a painted canvas: green, red and yellow blocks and clasts fused together in a natural balance reminiscent of the soft atmospheres of the Impressionists and the sharper contrasts of Renaissance works.

Colors and grains: a natural combination that looks like art

A green base dominates the texture, with hues ranging from sage to deep forest. Within it appear reddish inclusions, yellow-ochre accents and irregular veins that cross the slab like spontaneous features. There is nothing artificial: it is geology that does the work that the masters do in the paintings.

Textures and finishes

When sanded, Monet Log expresses a soft, continuous surface, perfect for enhancing color play. Each slab is different, and this uniqueness is one of the material's main strengths: no two rooms will ever be the same.

Recommended uses

Due to its scenic character, the Ceppo Sicilia / Breccia Botticelli is ideal for:

  • fine floor and wall coverings
  • scenic walls and decorative backdrops
  • tops, custom-made furniture and artistic accessories
  • Contemporary environments that want a strong, natural touch

This marble carries with it a strong visual identity: placed in the right design it immediately becomes the star.

Why choose it

If you are looking for a natural material that is rich, vibrant and out of the chorus, Monet Log is a choice that does not betray. It combines the expressive power of nature with architectural versatility, transforming space into an elegant and dynamic composition.
